Andrum for iPhone and Apple Watch · Effective 8 November 2026
Short version: Andrum collects nothing. There’s no account, no server, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Everything stays on your devices.
Apple Health
If you allow it, Andrum uses Apple Health (HealthKit) to:
- Save each breathing session as Mindful Minutes.
- Read your heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV), to show how your body responded during and after a session.
- Run a workout session while you breathe, so Apple Watch or supported headphones measure heart rate continuously. This workout is discarded and never saved to Health or Fitness.
Health data is used only inside the app, on your device. It is never sent to the developer or any third party, never used for advertising or data mining, and never stored in iCloud by Andrum. You can change or revoke access at any time in the Health app → your profile → Apps → Andrum.
Apple Watch
During a session, the Andrum watch app sends your live heart rate to the Andrum iPhone app over Apple’s own encrypted connection between your paired devices. It does not pass through any server.
Settings
Your preferences (rhythm, length, sound, light) are stored on your iPhone. They’re removed when you delete the app.
This website
andrum.co has no cookies, analytics or trackers.
Children
Andrum doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
